September the 16th 2014 the day of my operation. Woke up bright & early felt really weird like it wasn't happening because I had been waiting for this happen & it finally was. Got down to the hospital got into an attractive gown, un comfortable sock things & my slippers.. really not a good look. Saw the surgeons, doctors, my dad arrived to see me off, finally it was time & I suddenly got really scared. I was most scared about being put to sleep & I didn't know why I just was. I said goodbye to my dad & my mum sat with me for a while before I went it, I had to stop myself from crying. The nurses took me to the room the operation was being held in, had so many machines & wires, but had lovely things painted over the walls. They led me down, put these odd wires on me which to me looked like flying saucers! Asked me where I worked, & then I must've passed out because I don't remember from there haha.
When I woke up from my operation I felt really weak and fragile, I was throwing up blood that had ran down into my tummy from the op, though I don't remember much of that as I wasn't really all that there. But I know that everyone said I didn't come out of the recovery room till the evening & the surgery lasted 7 hours.
The next day I felt so stiff, the surgeons came round in the morning to ask how the pain level was & I was complaining about the pain in my neck. My neck had gone into spazum on the table and on the left side it really hurt, for weeks I couldn't hold my head up properly because of that pain. But other than that I had no pain in my mouth because I was so num I couldn't feel a thing!
I was only supposed to be in Hospital for a couple of days & was in from Tuesday to Saturday. It was horrible I didn't think I was going to get out! I had 6 weeks recovery at home, off work, bored out of my mind by the 3rd week, daytime TV is poo! And being out of a routine at work wasn't fun.
It's been 4 months now coming up for 5 on the 16th of this month. I'm still paralysed on the left of my face which I didn't mention was the side I had the complication on where the jaw didn't break correctly so that could be why it's healing slowly. But what's most annoying is not being able to feel half of your bottom lip! It will (touch wood) come back in time I just have to be patient, which I'm not.
I do not regret it at all. I have my braces off now, straight teeth, I got my smile. I'm happy. If you are going through or are going to go through this I hope this helps.

Where does the time go?
Where does the time go? At the moment I feel like I haven't got enough hours in the day to do something. I didn't used to be this busy! I had an underbite jaw operation in September last year so had a huge amount of time wasted to recover in. I recently have just finished an apprenticeship and now onto a part time role so I have more time even though it doesn't feel like it.
I have a Youtube channel if I didn't already mention it, and since my operation I had to take a break from it but now I'm going to start up with it again & of course blog more than I do.
I already have things planned for this year like little events and things that are going on. Friends birthdays, weddings, turning 21 at the end of this year - yikes! And I also hope to reach my goal/dream whatever you want to call it, still working on it so can't say what it is yet. But you've gotta have a goal right? Otherwise you have nothing to work towards.
But this was just to say to my viewers and readers where I've been. I haven't been lazy I've been generally busy!

20th.
So on Monday the 15th of December I turnt 20. Boo! There's nothing exciting about turning 20 is there? Other than that I had a good day, on the weekend I went out with my chums and on the day I chilled & went out for lunch & dinner. *pictures below*!
My lovely lace mint dress is from Missguided I brought it in the sale & I believe you can get it still but in nude. I wore the Tanya Burr 'Bambi' lashes which I love! I went to my local pub to have lunch and then to Tgi's in the evening.

Winter Wonderland
On Saturday the 6th of December me, my mum, dad & sister with some other families went to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park in London. I've never been before but seen pictures and some videos on YouTube. It was amazeballs! (Yeah that's a word). But my god it was flipping freezing!! If you're thinking of going I advise you to wear thermal clothes if not about 3 pairs of socks, boots & layers! By the time we were leaving my feet had gone numb and I couldn't walk.
Also if you do go be aware you're paying London prices. I was shocked it was about £6.00 for a burger! And it's £1.00 per token for any rides. I took many photo's & wanted to share them with you.

Beauty Blogger Tag!

1. Is your hair naturally straight or curly?
Straight, but tends to go all wavy when left wet/damp when I go to bed.
2. Do you dye it yourself or go to the salon?
My mum or nan dye's my hair for me, but soon going to have my hair re-done at the salon.
3. Do you wear the same style everyday or change it up?
When I go to work I clip my fringe out the way, on weekends I straighten it. I get impatient when I can't do other styles so I rarely change it!
4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to the salon?
Do my own! I did beauty therapy at college so can do my own, plus I have a cousin & sister who do great nail art designs.
5. How often do you change your nail polish?
Once a week, don't keep count but I get bored if it's on for longer than a week.
6. Do you pain your toes in the winter or summer?
Both! Doesn't matter what time of the year it is, I always do hands & feet.
7. How long does it take for you to put your make up on?
Depends where I'm going!
8. What do you do first face or eyes?
Face.
9. Do you collect make up or buy what you need when you need it?
I try to collect but I spend my money on clothes more than make up.
10. How often do you wear fake lashes?
Never! I can't get on with them, they feel so heavy on my eyes & can't put them on, when someone can do it for me & find nice ones, I'll do it.
11. Do you wear a full face of make up everyday?
No, if I'm in the house only mascara or nothing, if I'm off out with friends then a full face is always worn.
12. Do you wear make up when you're home alone/with family.
Rarely.
13. Will you leave the house without make up?
Yes.
14. How many high end products do you have?
Not many I don't think, a few Benefit ones.
15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when getting dressed?
Only if I'm going out I'll plan the night before.

Very rare!

For work I wake up at 7am & go to sleep by 10:30pm, (or try to) & weekends I sleep!

I'm lazy. I used to dance, and went to the gym once. I do tummy excercises but that's about it.

Right.

5.5 and a half, the half counts right?
21. Do you speak a foreign language?
No.

A family dog called Pandora.

Always reading others so everyday, I blog on here when I have something to blog!

Yes!

October's Glossybox
Afternoon lovely people, this morning I recieved my monthly Glossybox, I subscribed in August & instantly fell in love. It's a great way to try out different products & it's like a lovely present each month for only £10. Check it out on their website to find out more - http://www.glossybox.co.uk/
So I got some really lovely products this month & 3 full sized ones. Starting off with Nuxe mask, I've never heard of the brand before so looking forward to using that! Next product is a lip product, a 'So Susan' mascara, a mini perfume, a Ciate nail varnish (not my chosen colour) but it is pop art month! And then a Rimmel London BB cream, and I have a little one the same already & it's the right colour for me!

Mini Haul!
Hello everybody! Last Monday I went shopping with one of my best friend's & ended up spending a little bit of money & thought i'd share with you what I brought. I would normally do hauls over on my YouTube channel 'UniqueLucyxo' but due to me having an underbite jaw surgery I can't film videos just yet, so blogging this haul for now will do!
So starting from the top I brought Lush's snow fairy shower gel (I know it's not Christmas yet but I had too) It smells amazing! The pair of 2 boots are from New Look both in the kids section (I have small feet). The maroon pair were £24.99 & the simple navy boots were £22.99.
The black bow ballet pumps are from Primark they were either £6 or £7 affordable either way! I got them for work, I have narrow feet even though they're a wide fit they fit well & also have squishy insides so my feet won't hurt when on them all day. From Primark I also brought a pair of patterned pumps which were £7 and I know it's not summer anymore but I just happened to purchase them! Whoops! Then I got a pair of Mickey Mouse fluffy socks which were £2.50, can never have too many pairs! Then lastly I brought a gorgeous Grey floral clutch bag which I cannot wait to use.
The last things are my Zoella purchases. If you don't know who Zoella is you've clearly been under a rock all these years or just don't watch YouTube videos! Zoella - real name Zoe Sugg is a YouTuber who makes vlogs, fashion, beauty, lifestyle kinda videos. I love watching her, she's such a inspiration to me. She recently had her products come out into shops & online so of course I had to get something! You can find the products in my photo in Superdrug & on their website & on FeelUnique. I got the make-up bag/pencil case £8, the bath fizzer £5, and the bath soak & shower creme £8 which both smell lovely.
